We had heard a rumor that DuckTales would return mid-February. Well, that mostly checks out as the Disney XD Highlights were just released and DuckTales has a premiere on Monday (ugh) Feb 22 at 7:00 pm.

We expect the show to continue with episode premieres until the finale without any further hiatuses… hiatusi(sp?). Check out the episode descriptions below.

Original Series – Episode Premiere on Disney XD

DuckTales “Beaks in the Shell!”

(7:00–7:30 p.m. EST)

Huey struggles to keep Fenton and Gandra’s top-secret experiment (and their relationship) hidden from the world. But, Mark Beaks is desperate for one last gizmo to steal.

*Lin-Manuel Miranda (Broadway’s “Hamilton”) returns as Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera/Gizmoduck, Jameela Jamil (“The Good Place”) returns as Gandra, Selenis Leyva (“Orange Is the New Black”) returns as Officer Cabrera/M’Ma, and Josh Brener (“Silicon Valley”) returns Mark Beaks.

As hard as the announcement that the show was ending may have been, it is exciting to have the show returning (maybe for the very last time). The episode looks like it will continue the focus on Huey, and we are glad to see the chronicles of Fenton, Gandra, and Beaks’s relationship will continue!

It will be fun the next few weeks as DuckFans speculate over what the top-secret invention may be!
