Woo-oo! Funko announced on their social media channels and blog that they will be expanding their Disney Afternoon Action Figure line with a wave 2. We loved wave 1, and we were dreaming of a wave 2 of Disney Afternoon Action Figures.
Funko Disney Afternoon Wave 1
This is a great time to remind you about wave 1 which included Scrooge McDuck, Chip, Dale and Zipper, TaleSpin Baloo, Darkwing Duck, and Negatron (1:6 Chase).

The Disney Afternoon figures are on sale at most retail locations including Amazon.
Funko Disney Afternoon Wave 2
Funko stuck with the same four Disney Afternoon franchises that it used for its Wave 1: DuckTales, Darkwing Duck, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers, and TaleSpin: Gadget, Gizmoduck, Launchpad McQuack, and Louie.
These four characters compliment the figures that have already been released quite well. I fully expect a wave 3 to be done since Monterey Jack is the only member of the Rescue Rangers that does not have a Funko Disney Afternoon Action Figure.

Funko really hit a home run with they latest Disney figures! I have always wanted a Gizmoduck action figure and now it finally exists! I am hoping they will give us other Darkwing Duck characters that Playmates never produced, like Liquidator and Quackerjack.
