The Art of Coloring series has sold over 2 million copies in the U.S. The newest release in the book series celebrates Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary. Coloring books aimed at adults have been trendy for the last decade. The coloring books have been a form of mediation to help with focus and to relieve stress and anxiety. Disney Parks fans of all ages are going to love getting creative with this book.

“Art of Coloring: Walt Disney World” is one a trio of must-have books that were released by Disney Publishing to kick off the Most Magical Celebration on Earth. The other two books were “A Portrait of Walt Disney World: 50 Years of the Most Magical Place on Earth” and “Delicious Disney: Walt Disney World: Recipes & Stories from The Most Magical Place on Earth”. This gives Disney Parks fans an oversized coffee table book, a delicious cook book, and a creative outlet coloring book to add some WDW 50th Anniversary magic to their collections.

The cover of the “Art of Coloring: Walt Disney World” uses the same original enchanting cover art from “A Portrait of Walt Disney World: 50 Years of the Most Magical Place on Earth” that was illustrated by Fabiola Garza. Inside the coloring book’s pages, artists will have their opportunity to creatively color that magical illustration.

“Art of Coloring: Walt Disney World” includes 100 images that are collected into themed sections: Nostalgia (An Idealized Yesteryear), Fantasy (The Art of Make-Believe), Discovery (Adventure and Exploration), Tomorrow (A Step into the Future), Reflections (Looking Back at the World), The World’s Most Magical Celebration (The Fiftieth Anniversary of Walt Disney World). The images include Disney theme park concept art, posters, and maps to inspire artists cultivating relaxation and focus. I especially love the images from vintage coloring books that I remember from my childhood trips to Walt Disney World. There are pages featuring favorite attractions and shows for everyone. The Country Bear Jamboree, Kitchen Kabaret, Living Seas, and Living with the Land even get some love. Some of the newest and future Walt Disney World attractions that are also included: Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and TRON Lightcycle Run.
