Arcade1Up Disney Plug and Play Games Revealed

Earlier this year at CES 2020, Arcade1Up announced some future products that sparked our interest. Two of those products being a DuckTales plug and play and a mini table top arcade.

The DuckTales mini table top arcade is rumored to have the DuckTales and DuckTales 2 NES games.

Thanks to a YouTube video by COOLTOY that had access to pictures the instruction manual for the DuckTales plug and play, we now know which games will be included with that release.

Gargoyles (Genesis)

Lilo and Stitch (GBA)

Mickey Mousecapades (NES)

DuckTales (NES)

Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers (NES)

Adventures in the Magic Kingdom (NES)

Timon and Pumbaa’s Jungle Games (SNES)

Lion King 1.5 (GBA)

This game list is definitely a big surprise to me as I was expecting to see a rehash of the Disney Afternoon Collection games including: DuckTales 1 and 2, Darkwing Duck, TaleSpin, and Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 1 and 2.

I did not have a Sega Genesis when I was growing up. So this will be my first time experiencing the Gargoyles game. Adventures in the Magic Kingdom is an absolute gem of an NES game, and I can’t wait to hear people’s thoughts on that one. I would have loved to have seen the TaleSpin Sega Genesis game on this list. According to the instruction manual, there will be an opportunity to add additional backup ROMs to a MicroSD card if you would like to expand the game library on this plug and play device.

I am looking forward to finding out the release date and price. We will definitely let you know when more info is available. We are secretly dreaming that Arcade1Up will make a larger DuckTales arcade cabinet. What do you think of this game list? Comment below or tweet us at @DuckTalks.
