Welcome Foolish Mortals to another Funko POP! figure review! Today we will be taking a look at the latest release in the Disney’s Haunted Mansion Funko POP! series, Victor Geist.
Who is Victor Geist?
If you have ever been on the Haunted Mansion attraction in Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Tokyo Disneyland, you will recognize this ghost although you may not recognize the name. Victor Geist is the talented organ playing ghost in the Ballroom scene of the attraction.
Victor was a really great choice for a Funko POP! figure. It makes me wonder if Funko will eventually release all 999 Happy Haunts that inhabit Disney’s Haunted Mansion. This is considered a deluxe POP! release as it not only includes Victor but also his organ. The retail price is $39.99. It can be purchased at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and also are the Pin Trader shop at Disney Springs. The locations that are selling this figure at the Magic Kingdom are Memento Mori, Frontierland Pin Traders, and the Emporium on Main Street USA. Victor is also available on shopDisney when in stock. The initial stock sold out when it first went up on the shopDisney website. Haunted Mansion products as well as the Funko POP! Disney’s Haunted Mansion series are always in high demand.
Here is the glam shot of the Victor Geist figure.
Let’s take a closer look at this ghostly figure’s packaging!
Packaging
The front of the box features a Disney exclusive sticker.
I really love the Haunted Mansion wallpaper design used on the box which on the box is blue instead of the purple used in the mansion. The wallpaper is also included as a background layout behind the figure in the box that you can take out and use in your display if you are an out of box collector.
Now it’s time to help this ghost find a way out of its box.
The Figure
The organ features accurate details to how it is featured in the ride. The only thing that we are missing are the ghostly spirits exiting from the organ pipes.
Display Ideas
The Haunted Mansion’s Ballroom scene is situated between Madame Leota’s Seance Circle and the Attic scene. For the following pictures, I have added a few of my other Haunted Mansion Funko POP! figures.
Final Thoughts
There is always room for one more Haunted Mansion Funko POP! figure in my collection. There are several more figures being added to this series this Fall including some of the stretch portraits, a Haunted Mansion Maid, and a Haunted Mansion Butler and Mansion POP Town set. I am going to get them all. If you are a Disney Parks or Haunted Mansion attraction enthusiast, you are going to want to track down this ghostly figure to add to your collection. Beware of hitchhiking ghosts!
