The spell is broken…and we live again!

No other franchise had a toy and collectibles awakening like Gargoyles did in 2021 and 2022. It is especially remarkable considering that the merch is coming without any new Gargoyles series content having been announced. Top companies like Quantum Mechanics (QMx), Diamond Select Toys, NECA, Ravensburger, and Kid Robot have released or announced new Gargoyles products.

QMx revealed Goliath and Demona as the first two figures in an exciting new series of Gargoyles Q-Figs. Bronx and Lexington were later announced last summer to be the next two figures being added to the Gargoyles series in Q1 of 2022. I am sure that we can expect the rest of the Manhattan clan (Broadway, Brooklyn, and Hudson) to follow.

Our friends at QMx sent over the Goliath Q-Fig for us to showcase on the blog. Jalapeño!

Packaging

Goliath is #98 in the Q-Fig product line. The figure comes in a colorful square box with pictures of the figure on all sides. There are no windows to look at the figure, so you will need to display the figure out of the box which QMx definitely recommends.

Goliath Q-Fig

Goliath has awakened from his one thousand year slumber in stone. The sculpt of this figure looks amazing and the paint job is superb. Goliath looks well rested and ready to party or defend the night with the rest of his Manhattan Clan. The figure is approximately six inches tall.

Goliath looks great displayed next to his Angel of the Night, Demona. The stone pedestals from Castle Wyvern on top of the Eyrie Building conveniently line up to form a bigger scene when displaying multiple Gargoyles series Q-Figs next to each other. Demona fits and looks great on either side of Goliath, but I prefer the way she looks displayed on Goliath’s right side. I can’t wait to see how epic the complete Gargoyles series will look together.

Review

Goliath will be your defender of the night to look over all of your other toys and collectibles. The way that all of the Gargoyles series of Q-Figs look displayed next to each other was a very clever idea. The figures would especially look great on a high shelf. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND adding Goliath to your Gargoyles or Disney Afternoon collection. Holy jalapeño!

QMx is definitely bringing the fun with their Disney Afternoon Q-Fig releases. Darkwing Duck and Gargoyles were great show choices to add to their Q-Fig line. Could Adventures of the Gummi Bears, DuckTales, Chip ‘N’ Dale Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, or Goof Troop / A Goofy Movie be next?
