Steve Rogers gave the Captain America shield to Sam Wilson at the end of Avengers Endgame.
Steve Rogers: How does it feel?
Sam Wilson: Like it’s someone else’s.
Steve Rogers: It isn’t.

Marvel Cinematic Universe fans did not have to wait long for Sam Wilson to take over the Captain America mantle. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier arrived on Disney+ in March 2021. In episode six, Sam Wilson donned his Captain America suit from the comics.
The new Captain America suit looks amazing on Sam Wilson. Anthony Mackie was already a great Falcon, but I can’t wait to see more of him as Captain America when he returns in Captain America 4. This Captain America also makes appearances at Avengers Campus at Disney’s California Adventure.
As soon as that suit debuted in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode, the collector in me, started to dream up what the new Captain America merch and toys would look like. All of the major toy and collectible companies answered the call and had Sam Wilson Captain America product releases. Our friends at Diamond Select Toys sent over their Captain America Marvel Select figure for us to get a closer look.
Packaging
The Diamond Select Toys Captain America Marvel Select figure comes in a window package displaying Captain America, his wings, his shield, Redwing, and some alternate hand options. The window packaging leaves the option of displaying this figure in box if you are an in box action figure collector.
The Disney exclusive logo can be found on the bottom left corner of the box. This figure is exclusive to Disney retailers: Disney Store, shopDisney, and the Disney Parks and Resorts.
The side of the box shows a glam shot of the Captain America figure.
The back of the box shows Captain America with his wings attached holding his shield. There is an abundance of logos displayed on the back of the box. I do like that the Disney+ logo is included in the top left corner. Marvel is knocking it out of the park with their Disney+ series.
Captain America Figure
The Diamond Select Toys Captain America figure features 16 points of articulation which will allow you to get some patriotic poses. This figure is so great looking though that you could also go static museum pose, and it would look fantastic on your shelf or in your display.

The Captain America head sculpt has a great resemblance to the actor that portrays this iconic role, Anthony Mackie.

The wings at first can be a little difficult to attach and to stay on, but they look great when finally attached. It is a very impressive wingspan.

Accessories
This figure comes with four additional hands, Redwing, the shield, and Cap’s wings. There is no included stand in this package for Redwing so you will have to get creative on how you display it.

Where to Buy?
The Diamond Select Toys Captain America Marvel Select figure retails for $29.99 and is a Disney exclusive. The best way for you to purchase this figure would be through the shopDisney website at the link below.

Final Thoughts
I have always been a Team Iron Man guy, but I love this new look Cap. It does help that Anthony Mackie and I are both New Orleans Saints fan. This figure will look great with the rest of your Marvel figure collections, and it is personally my favorite figure from Diamond Select Toys’ Marvel Select figure line because of the close resemblance of the head sculpt to the actor as well as the epic new Captain America costume. Note: You will get a little frustrated with putting the wings on, but it should not be a problem once you have him posed in your display. You always have the option of posing without the wings if you prefer that look or need to conserve on shelf space.
Here are some bonus pics of Captain America with some of my other favorite pilot figures: The Rocketeer (Diamond Select Toys) and Launchpad McQuack (Funko).
