SweetBox is a product that is sold in Russia that combines life’s greatest treasures, fruit snacks and collectible toys. It is a pretty genius combination when you think about it. If Flintheart Glomgold would have come up with the idea, he would be the richest duck in the world. DuckTales (2017) was one of the many themes that Sweet Box has collaborated with for it’s boxes.

There was a set of seven DuckTales (2017) figures that were distributed among blind boxes: Scrooge McDuck, Launchpad McQuack, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, and Flintheart Glomgold.
Each tray of SweetBoxes included ten boxes.
Some of the figure molds resemble some of the DuckTales (2017) figures that were produced by PhatMojo. I decided to order 10 SweetBoxes from a Russian seller on eBay to check them out. It was a pretty sweet deal at only $16 plus shipping for 10 blind figure packs. The boxes and fruit snacks were not included to probably save on shipping and also the fruit snacks may have expired as the DuckTales (2017) promotion was quite some time ago.
My primary goal was to try and get a complete set of the seven figures. My secondary goal was to get a Flintheart Glomgold figure since a Flinty figure of that smaller size was not included in any of PhatMojo’s DuckTales (2017) product releases. I was able to score a prototype figure of the SweetBox Glomgold figure a couple of months ago that you can read all about here.
Woo-oo! I was able to get a complete set of 7 figures from the 10 blind packs.

Let’s take a closer look at the figures and compare them with some of the figures from the DuckTales (2017) PhatMojo product lines. The SweetBox figures have the yellow circular base. Each figure came with a character profile insert.

Since Golomgold did not have a PhatMojo small figure release, I have paired him up with the SweetBox prototype for the side by side picture below.

Cool! I kind of like the Sweet Box nephews’ eyes without black outlining.
