First Look At DuckTales Kit Cloudkicker!

Next week’s episode of DuckTales will introduce Kit Cloudkicker into the universe, and Looper has a preview for us!

“The Lost Cargo of Kit Cloudkicker!” premieres Monday March 1st at 7 PM on Disney XD and all day on DisneyNow with a subscription.

The episode will also include the introduction of “Not-The-Wuzzles” to DuckTales. The Wuzzles was one of the two very-first Disney Television series alongside The Adventures of the Gummi Bears. It was popular, but it only received one 13-episode season in 1985.

TaleSpin, of which Kit Cloudkicker and his plane the Sea Duck originate, was part of the Disney Afternoon and ran for 65 episodes starting in 1990. In that show Kit was a child who befriended Baloo, a cargo pilot. The pair found themselves on adventures while working for Rebecca Cunningham the owner of the business “Higher for Hire.” In many of the episodes Rebecca’s young daughter, Molly, joined in on the adventures.

We know that DuckTales director Tanner Johnson is a big fan of TaleSpin, and that he worked on this episode. We are anxiously anticipating a fun ride. It is great hearing that Adam Pally was excited to bring his voice for a grown Kit. We haven’t seen any announcements on a voice actress for Molly “Danger Woman” Cunningham, but we hope to see more of the TaleSpin crew in flashbacks (Like Louie and Wildcat!).

Let us know in the comments or on Twitter what you are most excited about with this episode.

  1. i liked the episode but it really needed rebecca and baloo to have been in there, guess we will never see those characters again now.
