It appears Disney XD has been sending out shortened versions of DuckTales episode descriptions for television listings, and updating them later.

We for one love that it provides us the excitement of finding the original description, and then we get to experience it again when the episode is update!

The original description for Astro BOYD was exciting enough, but check out what has been added below.

Gyro, Fenton and Huey take a malfunctioning B.O.Y.D. back to the lab where he was created in Japan, but as Huey bonds with the robot boy, a secret from Gyro’s past threatens to destroy the city and Gizmoduck.

*Lin-Manuel Miranda (Broadway’s “Hamilton”) and Jim Rash (“Community”) return as Gizmoduck/Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera and Gyro, respectively. Tamlyn Tomita (ABC’s “The Good Doctor”) guest stars as Inspector Tezuka, a tough-minded police officer, and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (“The Man in the High Castle”) guest stars as Akita, an infamous doctor of robotics.

Huey adds a new friend this season! And we get confirmation that Gyro’s past would impact this story. We knew from comments Frank Angones, Co-Executive Producer of DuckTales, made on Tumblr that we would learn about Gyro’s past in Japan. All you Gyro fans can rejoice!

The description for “The Rumble For Ragnorak!” description has also been updated, but the only update is that it includes guest announcements. Unfortunately, this means that my dream of Chris Hemsworth showing up are dead. Check it out below.

DuckTales is currently airing on Saturday mornings at 9:30 am on Disney XD. “Astro B.O.Y.D.!” will premiere on 5/2 and “The Rumble For Ragnarok!” will air on 5/9.
