Spies, F.O.W.L., and… RESCUE RANGERS On Tomorrow’s DuckTales?!

Most of us are excited for tomorrow’s episode of DuckTales titled “Double-O-Duck in You Only Crash Twice!” We’ve known that the episode would feature Launchpad and Dewey as spies (possibly for S.H.U.S.H.) and that it would include the Darkwing Duck villain Steelbeak. What we didn’t realize was that it would introduce the Rescue Rangers to the series!

Today Buzzfeed had an exclusive article where they shared the news that Chip and Dale’s Rescue Rangers would be part of “Double-O-Duck in You Only Crash Twice!”

We have been looking forward to Rescue Rangers being added to the DuckTales universe. The characters and show were a huge part of our childhoods, just as much as DuckTales and Darkwing Duck. Disney XD has shared a clip promoting the episode and the introduction of the characters.

I really wish I could watch the episode tomorrow… it will be difficult staying away from the conversation and spoilers tomorrow. Everything about this episode leads me to believe it could be the “Duck Knight Returns!” of season 3.

In addition to this news we have officially learned that Jason Mantzoukas will be voicing the F.O.W.L. villain Steelbeak. You can hear the new version of the character in the clip above.

This weekend is going to be a wild ride DuckFans!

  1. Hey infinirama,

What did you mean, when writing you “really wish I could watch the episode tomorrow”?

I don’t live in the United States, or anywhere near the continent, and I’m planning to watch it on that splendid little thing called the Internets!

Would you like me to share a link to watch it, or did you simply mean that you’ll be too busy during the day?
