DuckTales Season 3 CONFIRMED for Saturday April 4th at 9:30 am with two episodes on DisneyXD and DisneyNow! That’s right, the news just broke that season 3 of DuckTales will begin airing episodes next month on DisneyXD and the DisneyNOW app.

Twitter was given a heads up moments before before the announcement by Co-Producer of the show, Frank Angones.

Before much could be said, Screen Rant posted the exclusive.

We have a lot to look forward to with Season 3. The Disney Afternooniverse will continue to expand, Huey will experience his season long arc, Frank has said Scrooge will have a big story in this season, and we are sure to see some friction between Donald and Della as they work through raising the kids together. Not to mention the additions of Daisy and Goofy to series.

There is still no word on a season 4 announcement, but we did find out the show is returning to it’s original premiere channel DisneyXD. We know the ducks were a great fit on DisneyXD when the show originally aired, and after it’s initial success Disney decided to move it to the Disney Channel. The release also mentions that the show will premiere on DisneyNow, but in the past that has required a subscription to the channel from a provider. So if you want to watch DuckTales season 3, but you don’t have DisneyXD as part of your subscription you need to contact your provider before April 4th to be sure to catch the season premiere on Saturday morning.
