Herocross
Herocross…if you have never heard of this toy/collectible company before now, you will be obsessed with them after this article.
Herocross is a Hong Kong based company that makes high quality licensed products. Their most popular series is their Hybrid Metal Figuration (HMF) Series. Hybrid Metal figures use both metal and plastic. The metal and plastic combination produces a high quality product with a great look and ultimate articulation. I would compare them in quality to another Hong Kong company, Hot Toys. Some of the licenses that they produce toys and collectibles for include Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, DC and more.
The Disney duck figures that Herocross has released includes: Scrooge McDuck, Huey Duck, Dewey Duck, Louie Duck, Webby Vanderquack, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck. I am really hoping that additional ducks from classic DuckTales continue to get added to this line. #WeNeedLaunchpadMcQuack
We reviewed the Scrooge McDuck and Webby Vanderquack figures in previous blogs.

Today we will take a closer look at the Donald Duck figure.
Donald Duck
Donald Duck retails for $70 USD + Shipping on Herocross’ website. I have not seen many US online retailers selling Donald Duck so you may have to order him directly from Herocross in Hong Kong.
Packaging
Donald Duck comes in a flap window packaging so that you can display in box or out of box, but as pretty as the box presentation is, there is no way that you are going to want to keep this one in tbe box. You can see a secondary face sculpt for mad Donald and a couple of extra alternate hands.
Donald Duck is #6 in the Hybrid Metal Configuration series. Donald was one of the first releases in the Hybrid Metal Configuration series for Herocross.
The Figure
Donald Duck’s figure design is from the classic animated shorts. This figure definitely has a lot of personality with both its happy face and mad face alternate head sculpts.
The Donald Duck figure has an amazing 20 points worth of articulation. The figure has a great weight to it due to being a hybrid of both metal and pvc. He stands really well due to his weight and articulation.
Donald Duck comes with a total of six hands options that will allow you to customize your figure for ultimate poseability.
Fun Poses
Here are some fun poses and pictures that I did for a Donald Duck Photo Shoot with the figure.

Final Thoughts
This Donald Duck figure is awesome! As you can see Donald looks great paired up with the Scrooge McDuck and Webby Vanderquack figures. Where are the Huey, Dewey, and Louie figures? They will be showcased in a future review. I still need to order the Daisy Duck Herocross figure. The high quality and articulation of this Donald Duck figure makes it worth it’s price point.
Again, I really hope that Herocross continues to add to this Disney Duck figure line. There are so many possibilities for more characters from DuckTales, and I NEED THEM ALL….and also Darkwing Duck.
