Kingdom Consoles June and July Disney Pin Releases

It is pretty obvious that we are big fans of the Kingdom Consoles pin releases.

The first three releases were from:

January- The Little Mermaid (NES)

February- Aladdin (SNES, Genesis)

March-The Lion King (SNES, Genesis)

In April and May, we got our first pin releases from the classic Disney Afternoon console video games:

April- Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers (NES)

May- Darkwing Duck (NES)

On May 16th, there was a Pin Trading Event held at Walt Disney World. At this event, future pin releases were previewed including the Kingdom Consoles Pins for June and July.

Thanks to the Disney Pins Blog (@DisneyPinsBlog), we have pics of the June and July Kingdom Consoles pin releases. Go ahead and check out their blog the for the best Disney pin news and shoot them a follow on Twitter.

Kingdom Consoles June Release

Bonkers fan rejoice! June’s pin will be themed to the SNES/Sega Genesis Bonkers video game and released on June 6th. Retail would be $17.99 with an edition size of 4000 split between Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

Bonkers was released on SNES and Sega Genesis in 1994.

Kingdom Consoles July Release

Spin it! July’s pin will be themed to the Genesis TaleSpin video game. Retail would be $17.99 with an edition size of 4000 split between Disneyland and Walt Disney World if it stays consistent with previous releases in the series.

TaleSpin was released on Sega Genesis in 1991.

I am a little disappointed in this release as the classic NES version of the TaleSpin game has more nostalgic value to me. In the NES version, Baloo flies around in the Seaduck.

Possible future Kingdom Console Pin Releases:

  • DuckTales (NES)
  • Adventures in the Magic Kingdom (NES)
  • Mickey Mousecapades (NES)
  • Goof Troop (SNES)
  • Gargoyles (Genesis)
  • Disney’s Magical Quest (SNES)
