Disney Emoji Blitz will be having a Disney Afternoon Item Card Event on 5/10-5/13.

History of Disney Afternoon Disney Emoji Blitz Events

This will be the fourth Disney Afternoon themed event that has taken place in Disney Emoji Blitz. The first Disney Afternoon Item Card Event took place in August 2017 right around the time that DuckTales 2017 launched. The item event emojis were themed to Disney Afternoon, DuckTales, and Darkwing Duck. The new character emojis that were available to purchase in diamond boxes or after completing the event included Scrooge McDuck, Launchpad McQuack, and Darkwing Duck. Donald Duck and Daisy Duck were also randomly inserted into diamond boxes.

In February 2017, the Disney Afternoon Item Card event returned to Disney Emoji Blitz. This time Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers item emojis were featured in the event. Players also had the opportunity to unlock Chip and Dale character emojis in diamond boxes.Check out Disney Emoji Blitz!

Disney Afternoon Item Event DuckTalks Recap

In August 2017, a Disney Villain event featuring Magica De Spell debuted right around the time of the DuckTales season 1 finale starring Magica De Spell. Players unlocked the event exclusive Magica De Spell Emoji by completing certain levels of the event. New character emojis Webby Vanderquack and Gizmoduck were available in diamond boxes.

Disney Afternoon Item Card Event 5/10-5/13

The Disney Emoji Blitz icon features Gadget Hackwrench. It looks like with this new event, we will be getting a chance to unlock a new Gadget or Monterey Jack character emoji along with previously released Rescue Ranger character emojis Chip and Dale. I am hoping that one of the Monterey Jack Emojis comes with a Zipper emoji. We will know more details about the event when the event begins in a few days.

In the meantime, you can use the free spins in the game to try to earn as many gems as you can leading up to the event. 200 gems will buy a diamond box which will include a chance at one of the new of previously released Rescue Rangers character emojis. You can also get a diamond box after completing the event.

The good news is that the new Gadget and Monterey Jack Emojis will not be a forever exclusive to diamond boxes. These emojis will be available randomly in gold boxes after the event. Players have a 25% chance of getting each of the characters.

Unfortunately, in my first diamond box I received a Chip emoji which I already had unlocked.

I received a Dale emoji duplicate in my diamond box for completing the event.
