Scrooge McDuck’s Billionaire Bacon Caramel Sundae

Scrooge McDuck’s Billionaire Bacon Caramel Sundae debuted at Disney’s Animal Kingdom earlier this month.

I know what you are thinking. Caramel…gross! It is actually pretty good.

This unique sundae that pays tribute to my all time favorite Richest Duck in the world, can be found at Trilo-bites which is a food stand located right outside the front entrance of Dinoland USA.

The Scrooge McDuck’s Billionaire Bacon Caramel Sundae sells for $5.99, and it is available as a Disney Dining Plan Snack Credit. Scrooge McDuck would approve this price point as it is a reasonable price for a Disney speciality dessert.

The sundae is accented with a white chocolate medallion covered in an edible gold foil as a Scrooge McDuck coin. At least I hope it was edible. I did eat the coin. The top of the sundae is covered in golden pearls. I ate all of those pearls too. Then we get vanilla ice cream mixed with bacon strips and caramel. I could taste bacon in every bite and surprisingly that was not a bad thing. I enjoyed this sundae in my favorite land of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Dinoland USA. This themed sundae is a great addition to Donald’s Dino Bash. I will definitely be getting it again the next time that I am at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Full disclosure: I really enjoyed this sundae. If it did not have Scrooge McDuck in the name, I probably would have not tried it. Would I order it again just because it is a DuckTales themed sundae? You bet your money bin I would!
