New Dark Horse Graphic Novels Starring Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse Coming Soon

Dark Horse comics has recently released some really great graphic novels recently retelling classic stories with Disney characters.

They started off the series with Disney Treasure Island starring Mickey Mouse last November.

In December, Dark Horse released Disney Moby Dick Starring Donald Duck.

The next few books in the series have been announced.

Disney Don Quixote Starring Goofy and Mickey Mouse will be released March 19, 2019.

  1. I discovered these stories only recently on the bezos side. These are amazing pieces of work, I enjoy the avantgarde Disney style, which is very amazing.
    As for stories they are very enjoyable.
    Hard to get hold on here in Europe, I wonder if they will get teanslated to German, but I think this will not happen due to licensing reasons.
    I can only recommend these books as young and fresh…

  2. Ok, I did a little research. Actually some of them (as far Duckenstein, Moby ‘Duck'(??) & Treasure Island have seen live in German language as part of ‘Lustiges Taschenbuch’ low budget digest series (=~Funny Pocket digest). Originally they came all from italian Topolino Disney Magazines.
    Anyway, a very nice discovery, and there are one or two more out there, for example Jekyll & Hyde featirind Micky & Goofy.
