Uncle Scrooge: My First Millions #3 Preview and Review!

IDW has been publishing various Uncle Scrooge comics from around the world in the US for the first time. Uncle Scrooge: My First Millions is one of those books. I’ve enjoyed the stories so far.

If you haven’t picked up this series yet allow me to give you a little backstory. Issue #1 began with Scrooge, Donald, Huey, Dewey, and Louie spending time at Grandma Duck’s. They had just finished a meal when Scrooge shares the tale of how he earned his first million. The second and now third stories app begin the same way.

I mostly enjoy these books for the Italian Duck style art. The characters are very alive on these pages and the style is very comical.

In the latest issue Scrooge is convinced there would be profit in the motion picture theater business. As he sets out to make a profit off the budding industry some familiar looking rascals attempt to make a buck off Scrooge’s efforts… but will Scrooge come out a millionaire in the end? Of course he will it’s in the title… don’t you know who Scrooge McDuck is!?

You should be able to find issue #3 on stands today. Check out the description, preview, and covers below.

Uncle Scrooge: My First Millions #3—Cover A: Marco Gervasio

After amassing a fortune of two million dollars, you’d think that Scrooge McDuck would be content. Far from it—if there’s potential for more, Uncle Scrooge won’t rest until he’s richer! “My Third Million”finds Scrooge in unusual circumstances, and richer in both money and experience.
