DuckTales Co-Producer Tweets the Original Order of Episodes

Yesterday Frank Angones informed fans on Twitter of the written order of the DuckTales episodes. Like most shows the channel has re-arranged the episodes based on certain aspects (mostly for seasons; they want the Halloween epsiode to air throughout October, an early episode has been put off until December because it has snow).

Earlier this week Mr. Angones had pointed out that a Huey centric episode had been put off, and this has led to many questions from fans. I believe the biggest concern has been that the mystery storyline that will be unfolding throughout the first season would become confusing because of this shuffle.

On Saturday Frank Angones posted that the original order (https://twitter.com/FrankAngones/status/914321712300228609) of the episodes are:

  1. Woo-oo!
  2. Daytrip of Doom!
  3. The Impossible Summit of Mt. Neverrest! (Unannounced Huey Ep.)
  4. The Great Dime Chase
  5. Beagle Birthday Massacre!
  6. House of the Lucky Gander!
  7. Infernal Internship of Mark Beaks!
  8. Living Mummies of Both-Ra!
  9. Terror of the Terra-Firmians!

Mr. Agones said this order was created to “properly space out character spotlights, season arcs, and the right ratio of Duckburg eps to Globetrotting eps.” He also said these episodes should be out by the end of the month.

Curiously, he also mentioned an episode called Escape To/From Atlantis! He said the episode is a re-edit of parts of the pilot for programming purposes… This seems odd to me, and I’m not sure the purpose of this episode.

As excited as I was to learn that Disney Animation was rebooting DuckTales, my excitement went through the roof as we were introduced to Matt Youngberg and Frank Agones. These two are huge fans of Disney’s ducks, and they want to make a great show. If you don’t follow them on Twitter you can find them at @herkPrime and @FrankAngones .
