MegaCon Orlando 2025 Preview

Our favorite convention of the year in the City Beautiful, Orlando, is almost here. MegaCon Orlando is ready to entertain us again this upcoming week, Thursday February 6th-February 9th. Never have we ever had a better excuse to not watch the Super Bowl.

MegaCon is the largest fan convention event in the Southern United States and the second largest in North America. DuckTalks will be there again for our 7th year in a row enjoying the entertainment and splendor of this epic event and providing media coverage on our social channels.

MegaCon is where all fandoms collide. There is something for every fandom at MegaCon. Whether you like to shop for art, comics, and collectibles on the show floor or meet your favorite comic creators and entertainment celebrities, MegaCon has the best vendors and guests. There is so much to digest when it comes to planning for MegaCon. This blog will highlight for our audience what we are most looking forward to experiencing

You will spend days discovering everything that the show floor has to offer. I always find Darkwing Duck or DuckTales art from talented artists that I can’t live without. The talented Every year, I am impressed by the comic creators that are in attendance at MegaCon.

These are some of my favorite comic creators attending MegaCon 2025, but you can look at the full list here.

Uncle Scrooge and the Infinity Dime from Marvel was a mega hit for Disney Duck fans last summer. There was a multiverse of variant covers for this epic comic event. A few of the comic cover artists will be in attendance that you may be interested in getting your comics signed:

-Frank Miller

-Gabrielle Dell’Otto

-Mirka Andolfo

Fans of the Dynamite Comics Disney titles will be happy to see some of the creative talents on those series making appearances in Orlando.

The writer and illustrator of Dynamite Comics Disney Villains Maleficent, Soo Lee, will be in attendance. This would be a villainous opportunity to have Soo sign any of her Disney Villains Maleficent #1-5 issues or the Disney Villains Maleficent trade paperback or hardcover.

Mirka Andolfo is making a return appearance back to MegaCon. Mirka has many epic comic credits to her resume, but I really love the comic covers that she create for Dynamite Comics Disney titles including Darkwing Duck, Justice Ducks, Gargoyles Dark Ages, and Gargoyles Halloween Special.

DuckTales fans are Woo-ooing about the new DuckTales comic series from Dynamite Comics. Comic artist Alan Quah will be in attendance at MegaCon. You could have Alan sign any of the covers that he has done for the first two issues of DuckTales or his work on covers for Gargoyles and Darkwing Duck. I plan on having Alan sign two of his DuckTales covers.

Lesley Lerix Li and Lucio Parillo have worked on many Dynamite Comics including Gargoyles. You could have them sign one of their many Gargoyles covers.

David Nakayama has done Dynamite Comics covers for their Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, Disney Villains Maleficent, Disney Villains Scar, and Lilo & Stitch comic series. David has been in attendance the past few years, and I have always stopped by his booth to have something new signed. I think this year I will have him sign a Gargoyles #5 metal cover.

Clayton Crain’s covers for Dynamite Comics Darkwing Duck, Justice Ducks, Gargoyles Dark Ages, Gargoyles Quest are some of my favorite covers for those comic series. Clayton’s premium signature looks epic on his covers and are totally worth it.

MegaCon is known for the amazing list of celebrities in attendance and for their fun panels.

You can look at the full list of celebrities attending MegaCon here. I am most excited for the Breakfast Club reunion, but I want to highlight the DuckTales 2017 voice talent coming to MegaCon.

The voice actors for Webby Vanderquack (Kate Micucci) and Magica De Spell (Catherine Tate) will be at MegaCon.

MegaCon is going to be a blast this year, and I hope that this event guide helps you plan and that you are able to attend and meet all of these great attendees and celebrate your many fandoms. Stay tuned to our socials on Twitter, Blue Sky, and DuckTalks blog for event coverage.
