Diamond Select Toys is getting dangerous as in LET’S GET DANGEROUS! The terror that flaps in the night is starting to arrive in stores as a collectible PVC Diorama statue from Diamond Select Toys. Dynamite Entertainment launched a new hit Darkwing Duck comic series earlier this year, and now the daring duck of mystery and the champion of right is getting the statue that he deserves from DST. This is the first Darkwing Duck product release from Diamond Select Toys, but they have already announced a Darkwing Duck and Negaduck figure set to be released some time Spring 2024. Hopefully, this Darkwing Duck PVC Diorama will be the first of many Darkwing Duck product releases from Diamond Select Toys.

Packaging

Diamond Select Toys Gallery PVC Diorama statue boxes comes in their standard window packaging so that buyers can view the item at that shops and collectors can have the option to display in box if that is their preference. This Darkwing Duck figure should absolutely be displayed out of the box. The Darkwing Duck logo is printed on all sides of the box.

Darkwing Duck PVC Diorama

The daring duck of mystery and champion of right is made up of high-quality PVC and measures at approximately 9 inches tall. Darkwing is in a super hero pose as he watches over St. Canard with one hand holding his gas/grappling hook gun and the other hand grasping his cape as it flaps in the night. The diorama base looks like the top of one of the towers of the Audubon Bay Bridge which connects St. Canard and Duckburg. Darkwing’s secret hideout is in one of the towers. Shh don’t tell anyone! The Darkwing Duck portion of the PVC Diorama statue has a great weight to it, and the back tower portion is significantly lighter. The shelf presence of this Darkwing Duck PVC Diorama statue looks like it is a premium collectible statue that would sell for way beyond it’s retail price. A bonus feature is that this PVC Diorama statue has two cuthole\keyhole slots molded into the back of it so that collectors have the display option to hang or mount the figure to your wall.

Displaying the Darkwing Duck figure on top of your bookshelf to keep lookout and protect your other collectibles is another great option. Just make sure that the figure is on an even surface and balanced.

Display Ideas

The Darkwing Duck PVC Diorama statue looks fantastic on a shelf, but I have to say that if you are lacking shelf space Darkwing looks even more amazing displayed as 3D art mounted on your wall.

I was beyond thrilled when DST announced that they would be releasing products from Darkwing Duck and Gargoyles. The Diamond Select Toys Darkwing Duck PVC Diorama statue would look dangerously great in all Darkwing Duck fan’s collections. We know that DST will be releasing a Darkwing Duck and Negaduck Select figure two pack next year. Hopefully, both the PVC Diorama and figure sets sell well enough that Diamond Select Toys could consider adding additional characters from the Darkwing Duck animated series to the PVC Diorama statue and Select figures product lines as well as insert the characters in other DST product lines including Mini-Busts, Minimates, Premier Collection Statues, Legends in 3D Busts.
