Disney 100 LEGO Minifigures Review and Feel Guide

The Walt Disney company is celebrating it’s 100th Birthday this year. LEGO is helping Disney fans party with the release of it’s third Disney LEGO minifigures set. The first LEGO Disney minifigures series released in 2016, and it was followed up by LEGO Disney mini figures series 2 in 2019. On May 1st, 2023, the Disney 100 LEGO minifgures series will be released worldwide. I was able to secure some Disney 100 LEGO minifigures mystery bags a few weeks early at my local Target and complete a set. Over the years of collecting the Simpsons, Disney, Marvel, and Muppets LEGO minifgures in mystery bags, I have developed a sixth sense at picking packs. This in depth picture review and feel guide of the Disney 100 minifgures is my gift to you. Happy hunting!

There are eighteen minifgures in the Disney 100 series. This matches the number that were in the previous two series. If you have all three series, that adds up to fifty four magical Disney LEGO minifigures. Mystery packs of Disney 100 LEGO minifigures retail for $4.99 each.

Disney 100 LEGO Minifigures Mystery Pack

The picture below is the Disney 100 checklist that you get in each pack that you can use to keep track of which Disney 100 LEGO minifigures that you have pulled. This checklist also helps you see which accessories are included with each minifigure to help you to identify which one is in your mystery pack.

Disney 100 LEGO Minifigures Checklist

As you can see the Disney 100 series include a wide variety of characters from Disney animated shorts and features. I am a Disney Villains fan, so I was most excited for the sixth Disney Villains included in this series: Dr. Facilier, the Queen of Hearts, Ernesto De La Cruz, Cruella De Vil, Prince John, and the Evil Queen.

Each figure in this series comes with a special edition LEGO minifigure Disney 100 base plate.

Disney 100 Base Plate

We now will take a look at each figure as well as point out what pieces to feel for in the mystery packaging.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit (1927)

Oswald is the oldest character in this collection and a big part of the Disney 100 celebration. Oswald will definitely be a popular fan favorite from this series.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit

For Oswald, you are going to want to feel for his long ears. Oswald’s accessory is a flat LEGO brick that is a closed movie clip board that says Oswald Act: 2 Take: 1. Dr. Facilier also comes with a similar size and shape Voodoo card accessory piece, but Oswald’s ears should definitely be what you feel for.

Pinocchio (1940)

Pinocchio’s accessory is a bonus character as we get his fish Cleo in a fish bowl which is a translucent LEGO minifigure head piece. A Figaro the cat bonus figure would have also been great with Pinocchio, but I am glad that we got Cleo.

Pinocchio

For Pinocchio, you are going to want to feel for his pointy hat. Pinocchio’s head LEGO piece also has a pointy nose which may help you differentiate from other characters.

Cleo’s house is printed on the other side of the fish bowl.

Cleo’s House

Jiminy Cricket (1940)

Every LEGO Pinocchio needs his conscience so Jiminy Cricket was also included in this series.

Jiminy Cricket

For Jiminy Cricket, you are going to want to feel for his top hat. If you feel a top hat then it is either Jiminy Cricket or Dr. Facilier. Jiminy’s accessory is an umbrella. Dr. Facilier also comes with a stick accessory for his cane. Make sure to feel for the umbrella’s curved handle. There are also some additional Dr. Facilier accessories that I will go over in his section.

Similar Accesories

Sorcerer Apprentice Mickey

Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice is my favorite role that the Mouse has starred in his long career. Mickey comes with his broom and bucket for accessory pieces. Mickey Mouse has been included in all three LEGO Disney Minifigures series. He appears in his standard look in Series 1 and Steamboat Willie for Series 2.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

For Mickey Mouse, you are going to want to feel for his ears, nose, and pointy hat. The long broom piece is also very distinguishable.

Tiana (2009)

Tiana is dressed for her Mardi Gras Ball at Tiana’s Place. We get a Tiana as a frog accessory and a menu for Tiana’s Place.

Tiana

The dress piece is very distinguishable when feeling the packs. It could belong to one of three characters though: Tiana, Aurora, or the Evil Queen.

Similar Dress Pieces

For Tiana, you are going to want to feel for the dress piece and then the additional accessory pieces which are the frog and flat Tiana’s Place menu piece.

Tiana’s hairstyle has the bob in the back which you could also look out for.

Tiana’s Hairstyle

Tiana’s head piece is also double sided with an additional closed mouth smiling face on the other side.

Alternate Smile

Dr. Facilier (2009)

Dr. Facilier has friends on the other side. The shadow man has his top hat, voodoo card, and cane. This is my favorite LEGO minifigure from this series as I love Keith David as a voice actor, and I can hear his voice singing in my head from this LEGO minifigure.

Dr. Facilier

For Dr. Facilier, you are going to want to feel for his top hat, voodoo card, and his cane. Dr. Facilier’s mystery pack also comes with an additional cane and cane pieces. So you feel two canes in the mystery pack.

As mentioned above, Jiminy Cricket also has a top hat and an umbrella which could be mistaken for the cane except for the bottom part of the umbrella is curved.

Similar Accessories

The Queen of Hearts (1951)

Off with their LEGO heads! The Queen of Hearts is my favorite character from Alice in Wonderland. She is so pleasant and level headed all of the time and a great croquet player. The Queen of Hearts comes with a heart scepter as an accessory.

Mulan (1998)

Mulan comes with her lucky cricket, Cri-Kee. Mulan is definitely worth fighting for and with. This is her look from the end of the movie when she saves the Emperor and all of China from the Huns.

For Mulan, you are going to want to feel for her long straight hair. She is the only figure with long straight hair. There are also plenty of distinguishable accessories including two swords and the pointy triangle piece on the top of Cri-Kee’s enclosure.

Mulan’s head piece is also double sided with Mulan’s warrior face on the other side.

Ernesto De La Cruz (2017)

Remember me! Ernesto De La Cruz is ready to perform all your favorite hits that someone else wrote. His skeleton guitar is perfectly recreated from the film.

Ernesto De La Cruz

For Ernesto De La Cruz, you are going to want to feel for his huge sombrero and guitar accessory. Miguel also comes with a guitar, but there is no way that you are not going to be able to identify that sombrero in the Ernesto De La Cruz mystery bag.

Ernesto’s head piece is also double sided with a slightly nervous smile face on the other side.

Slightly Nervous

Miguel (2017)

Miguel comes with an additional character in his dog guardian Dante. Dante’s tongue hanging out of the side of his mouth is hilarious.

Miguel and Dante

Miguel’s head piece is also double sided with a additional smiling skeleton face on the other side.

Alternate Skeleton Smile

This figure pack comes with an additional non skeleton painted double sided head and hair accessory piece if you want to display Manuel without the skeleton face paint. The skeleton face paint definitely looks better, but I do like that LEGO gives the alternate option.

Alternate Human Smile

Pocahontas (1995)

Pocahontas loves rivers and can paint with all of the colors of the colors of the wind. Pocahontas comes with a compass accessory and some colorful leaves.

Cruella De Vil (1961)

If she doesn’t scare you, no evil thing will. This fashion icon comes fittingly with a small Dalmatian puppy. Now we just need 100 more Dalmatians to complete the set.

Cruella De Vil

For Cruella De Vil, you are going to want to feel for the black and white poof at the front of her hair piece and the small Dalmatian that is included in her mystery bag.

Cruella’s head piece is also double sided with an evil diabolical smiling face on the other side.

Devilish Smile

Robin Hood (1973)

Oo-De-Lally! Golly what a day! Robin Hood steals from the rich and gives to the poor. This foxy LEGO minifigure comes with his trusty bow and arrow.

Robin Hood

For Robin Hood, you are going to want to feel for his bow and arrow and the feather in his cap. There are actually three feathers included in the package and they feel like claws.

Feathers

Prince John (1973)

Prince John, that phony King of England! A sack full of tax money and two gold coins are included with Prince John. You know that LEGO Robin Hood is going to take that back for the poor.

Prince John

For Prince John, you are going to want to feel for the crown on the top of his head

Stitch (2002)

Ohana means family and that no LEGO piece is left alone. Stitch is in his red suit from the beginning of the film. This version of stitch also has four arms and two blasters. A regular Stitch was included in LEGO Disney minifigures series 1.

Stitch

For Stitch, you are going to want to feel for Stitch’s big ears and two blasters. If you also find a body with four arms, then it definitely Stitch.

Bah-a-la-la-la! Baymax is packaged with his battery charging pad.

Baymax

For Baymax m, you are going to want to feel for Baymax’s bulkier arms that are bigger than most standard minifigures. You can also feel for the pieces that make up his charging pad.

Evil Queen (1937)

The Evil Queen is still the fairest of the land in my book. It is great to have the villain from the feature length animated movie that started it all in LEGO form. She comes with her magic mirror. I hope that we get her Old Hag look at some point too.

The Evil Queen

The dress piece is very distinguishable when feeling the packs. It could belong to one of three characters though: Tiana, Aurora, or the Evil Queen.

Similar Dress Pieces

For the Evil Queen, you are going to want to feel for the dress piece and then the oval shaped Magic Mirror piece. The Evil Queen does not have a hair piece so you can feel for her crown instead.

Groupings

Here are some fun pics of some LEGO groups that I put together from displaying the LEGO minifigures from the Disney 100 series with Disney LEGO minifigures Series 1 and 2.

Overall the Disney 100 LEGO minifigures would be an excellent addition to your collection. I loved the wide variety of characters that were selected for this series. We got a lot of great new villains, princesses, Disney and Pixar animated classics, a Sorcerer Mickey, and an Oswald.

I am already thinking of my wish list for a fourth series of Disney LEGO minifigures that would be headlined by Darkwing Duck, Launchpad McQuack, The Three Caballeros, Goofy, Max, Powerline, Gadget, Monterey Jack, Goliath, Gaston, and Scar.

What are your favorite characters from the Disney 100 LEGO minifigures series? Which characters would you like to see in the next Disney series? If you found this feel guide was helpful, please let me know. Comment below and tweet us @DuckTalks.

    • My favorite figure from the Disney 100 series is Dr. Facilier for a few reasons that all line up. I am from New Orleans so I am a big fan of The Princess and the Frog. I love the Disney Villains, and Dr. Facilier’s “Friends on the Other Side” is one of my favorite Disney Villains songs. The voice actor for Dr. Facilier is Keith David who also was the voice actor for Goliath in one of my favorite Disney Afternoon shows, Gargoyles.

  1. Besides Disney Afternoon characters (mostly want Darkwing), I’d LOVE to see a Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps minifigs.
