Gargoyles Item Card Event 9/24-9/28

We will continue to update this event guide as we unlock more emojis and obtain more info about the event.

We got our first glimpse of the new Gargoyles emojis in a promo image for all of the September Disney Emoji Blitz events. Goliath, Bronx, and Demona sit on their castle on top of Xanatos’ New York skyscraper.

Demona is currently featured on the Disney Emoji Blitz app icon along with Kermit, Figment, and Baby Pluto.

Upon completing the event, you will earn a diamond box where you will have a chance to unlock one of the three Gargoyles emojis. During the event, you will unlock additional Gargoyles related item emojis. You can also purchase a diamond box in game for 200 gems that you can pay for or earn in game.

Goliath and Bronx are Gold Box Emojis which will be available after the event in random Gold Boxes (30000 coins). Demona is a purple villain emoji, and she is exclusive to this event.

The odds of getting the specific Gargoyles in a diamond boxes vary: Goliath (45%), Bronx (40%), Demona (15%).

You can play as any emoji during this event, but playing as a Gargoyles emoji will help you collect some of the rarer items on your emoji cards to advance you farther in the event faster.

I had 200 gems saved up in anticipation for this event, so I redeemed a diamond box as soon as the event started. I unlocked Goliath.

This is a really great assortment of Goliath emojis. I am surprised that we did not get a Goliath in stone emoji.

Goliath’s special power has really fantastic animations. Goliath starts off as stone, and he then awakens from his slumber.

We then see Goliath, Brooklyn, and Lexington sitting on top of the castle wall as an emoji Demona appears with her weapon and begins to threaten other emojis on the board.

Goliath, Brooklyn, and Lexington swoop down from their perch to scare away Demona. The scared emojis are cleared from the board.

I received a diamond box as a reward for completing the event. I unlocked Bronx.

For Bronx’s special power, birds cover fly on your emojis board and Bronx chases them away which clears emojis.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to unlock the Demona emoji which is only available as part of this event. I hope that she will be available again at a future event.
