We weren’t expecting new episodes of DuckTales third season to premiere in the month of August, but the Disney XD August Highlights just confirmed the show will not return next month.

The Disney XD Highlights feature every new episode that will premiere on the channel each month. It is typically released the next to last week of each month. Although the DuckTales was not on the list of new episodes there are some notable premieres next month.

Both Amphibian and Owl House will have new episodes one August, and we noticed that DuckTales’ voice actor Danny Pudi will be in an episode of the new series Mia Royal Detective. The episode is titled “The Mystery of the Secret Room/The Mystery of the Magnificent Musicians”, and they will premiere on Friday August 28th on the Disney Channel.

At the very least we get the premiere of the spooky looking episode that everyone has been referring to as the Halloween episode.
