DuckTales: Remastered Leaving Digital Stores!

The video game publisher Camcom announced, on Twitter today, that DuckTales: Remastered will be leaving digital stores beginning August 8th. DuckTales: Remastered had previously been removed from Apple’s app stores.

The title is a favorite of ours as it added enhanced graphics, voice over by many of DuckTales’ original actors, and an updated game music to one of the greatest console games of all time.

Capcom’s release about the game’s removal mentions the game will be removed on every digital store, but after you purchase the game you should be able to download it again even after it’s removal.

We had hoped DuckTakes: Remastered would be added to current generation consoles, but with its removal from digital stores that seems very unlikely. If you have a console or PC that will play DuckTales: Remastered you can currently pick it up for a few dollars and experience a great overhaul on one of the greatest NES era games.
