I am still settling in at home after our week-long vacation at Walt Disney World, and I have so much to share with you. One of the highlights of the trip was Donald’s Dino-bash in Dinoland U.S.A. We will be discussing the experience on episode 26 of the podcast later this week. If you want to hear more about the experience you should check it out online or on your favorite pod-catcher.
Anyway, one disappointment for me as a Disney Duck fan was the lack of DuckMerch at WDW. I’ve always been a Donald fan (my sole souvenir from our 2015 trip was a Donald hat. A hat I still wear, and wore on our trip this year). My girls started a pin trading collection, and they traded for every duck pin they could find. I hope the success of DuckTales will lead to more DuckMerch coming to the parks.
There was, of course, one exception at Animal Kingdom’s Dinoland U.S.A. With the addition of Donald’s Dino-bash it only makes sense that Disney would include some DuckMerch in this area of the parks.
Pictured below is the DuckMerch I found at the Boneyard Cart in Dinoland U.S.A. It was great to see the new Disney plush of the kids in the park, and I was witness to a few children adding their favorite DuckTales’ character to their list of Disney Park souvenirs!
The Boneyard Cart can be found between the Scrooge and Pluto meet and greets at the Boneyard near the entrance from Discovery Island.

I feel your pain. I went to Disneyland Paris hoping to buy some Donald Duck memorabilia and they had hardly any Donald Duck merchandise.

With the success of DuckTales I hope this changes soon. It was great seeing Disney DuckMerch in the parks though!
