Nano Metalfigs by Jada Toys Inc. launched in summer 2017 with licenses for DC Comics, Harry Potter, and Marvel. Other licenses including Disney would be added to the roster soon after.

Nano Metalfigs are diecast figures in 1.65″ scale. The figures are priced at most retailers for 99 cents for a single pack which makes them very affordable and in the same price range as die cast hot wheels cars. Nano Metalfigs multipacks are also sold which may include 5 figures ($4.99), 10 figures ($9.99), or 20 figures ($19.99).

The best news is that DuckTales has representation in the Nano Metalfigs line in the Disney series of die cast figures. Scrooge McDuck and Gizmoduck are available in both single packs and multipacks. The 10 figure multipack also contains exclusive Huey, Dewey, and Louie die cast figures.

Final Thoughts

I would definitely recommend Nano Metalfigs. Whether you decide to just collect the DuckTales characters or go all out and get all of the Disney figures, you really can not go wrong with the low price point for the high quality die-cast figures that you will receive. The paint jobs on these figures were perfect. The figures being made of die-cast metal adds some weight to the figure which makes it feel more valuable and adds to the quality. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Gizmoduck figure in this figure line in such an early wave. The world needed more Gizmoduck merch. You will definitely want to get the 10 pack of figures that comes with the exclusive Huey, Dewey, and Louie figures since that is the only way that you can acquire the nephews. Mr. Smee is also a great exclusive included in that pack. I hope that these figures sell well so that more DuckTales and/or Disney Afternoon show characters can get added to the line in the future. I would personally love to see Glomgold, Magica DeSpell, Darkwing Duck, Launchpad McQuack, Baloo and King Louie from TaleSpin, and the Rescue Rangers in a future wave of Nano Metalfigs.
