Funko is at it again! We’ve had Pops. We’ve had Mystery Minis. We’ve had Action Figures, and now we are getting Disney Afternoon Plushies (Not plush, not plushes, but Plushies). Funko dropped the news this morning from their Twitter account (@OriginalFunko).

We are going out on a limb here and calling this Wave 1. Wave 1 of Funko’s Disney Afternoon Plushies Collection will include the Rescue Rangers duo Chip and Dale, Scrooge McDuck, and Darkwing Duck. If you follow the link from Funko’s tweet (which you can do by clicking here) you will find these are scheduled for release in May. Funko’s Plushies are sold in most stores that sell Funko products including GameStop, Target, Hot Topic, Toys ‘R Us, comic shops, Best Buy, and online retailers.

From the stock photo on Funko’s website, it looks like a retail case of Disney Afternoon plushies will include 2 Chip, 2 Dale, 1 Scrooge McDuck, and 1 Darkwing Duck. I have not seen these plush on sale individually yet, but Entertainment Earth has a case available for preorder.
