DuckTalks Plays Disney Afternoon Collection for Extra Life Game Day!

We are very excited to share this news with you. Our very own Pirate Steven has participated in Extra Life’s Game Day marathon for the past five years, and this year DuckTalks will be joining the action.

Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $30 million for sick and injured kids. Sign up today and dedicate a day of play for kids in your community!

If you want to learn more about Pirate’s involvement with Extra Life, Or if you want to donate you can find our Extra Life donor page here.

We like playing video games and we like helping sick and injured kids. This past year Capcom released the Disney Afternoon Collection which includes the DuckTales 1 & 2, Rescue Rangers 1 & 2, Darkwing Duck, and TaleSpin NES games. We loved these games when we were kids, so it just made sense that we stream them all evening on Saturday November 4th.

We plan on starting around 4 pm EST, but watch our Twitter account for changes (@DuckTalks). We will be playing through all six of these classic games, and expect to be online for around six hours. Unless I lose the coin flip and have to play TaleSpin… then we go all night.

Please join us on Saturday. We will be broadcasting from Twitch and you can find our channel here. We will have the chat open so we can talk with you about DuckTales and anything related to the show and comics. We may even have a few guests stop by. This is a great opportunity to have a good time, and to help out children in need. We hope you will consider giving to Extra Life this Saturday on Game Day!
