Review

The epic art by Silvio Camboni with colors by Gaspard Yvan in Mickey Mouse and the Amazing Lost Ocean is absolutely breathtaking. Each panel is a modern work of art. The Steampunk fantasy genre combines Victorian-era fashion and technology with modern elements. This 55 page story by Pierre Filippi felt very much like it could be developed into a movie or have book sequels. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy are the heroes in this book, but they will have to team up with their arch-rival Pete if they want to survive this tale. Dr. Einmug and Portis complete the cast lineup. Disney fans are going to really enjoy this Steampunk futuristic adventure starring their favorite two mice and a goofy dog.
