Official Synopsis:
For as long as Scrooge McDuck has been a successful tycoon, he’s had to deal with swindlers, burglars, and every other kind of chiseler who wants to get their hands on his hard-earned fortune. And leading the pack of scheming miscreants that hound his every step are the infamous Beagle Boys – most of whom are now cooling their heels in Duckburg’s jail.
As he leads his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie into the city, Uncle Scrooge tells them about an early encounter he had with the Boys’ criminal matriarch, Ma Beagle – and how that has lead directly to their new mission: infiltrating the prison that the gang now calls home!

My Recap
*STOP READING HERE IF YOU WANT TO AVOID ALL SPOILERS*
The current story arc in this DuckTales series is titled “Four Corners of Your World.” Part Three is named “The Duckburg Clink”. The issue starts off with Scrooge getting locked up in a cell with the Beagle Boys at Duckburg City Jail. How did he end up in this predicament? Earlier that night. Scrooge and his nephews were exploring Craven Caverns for gems. Flintheart Glomgold previously owned the rights to the cavern before he sold it back to Duckburg. We get our first glimpse of Glomgold in this series in the form of a one page flashback of Flintheart baiting Scrooge with different forms of trash talk. That exchange led to Glomgold overpaying for the Craven Caverns. We get a two page spread of Scrooge and the boys exploring the tunnels of the cavern and Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys digging an escape tunnel from Duckburg City Jail. Ma Beagle, Big Time Beagle, Bouncer Beagle, and Baggy Beagle looked exactly like they did in the DuckTales (1987) animated series. Their tunnels end up running into each other. An avalanche causes Scrooge to end up with the Beagle Boys and Ma Beagle with Huey, Dewey, and Louie. We then get another flashback starring Flintheart Glomgold and some ninjas trying to take Scrooge down after he purchases a rare dragon statue made of jade. Scrooge and the Beagle Boys have to backtrack to Duckburg City Jail where Scrooge is charged with trying to help the Beagle Boys escape. Ma Beagle wants to adopt Huey, Dewey, and Louie and make them her new family in crime. Huey, Dewey, and Louie trick Ma Beagle into turning herself in. Scrooge smashes a rock in the jail that turns out to be full of the jade that he was looking for in the caverns. Scrooge is cleared from the crime and released back into Duckburg.
On the last page of the issue, we get a preview that Launchpad McQuack will be featured in the next issue that will also see Scrooge and the boys visiting the Duckburg Public Library.

The previous issue was released two and a half months ago which made for a very long wait between issues. I really hope that the schedule can tighten back up to regular monthly releases again.
The first six issues of this series will keep our adventurous Duck family in Duckburg. So far we have seen Scrooge and the boys walk around Duckburg with visits to McDuck Manor, the Scrooge-Arama-Dome, Craven Caberns, and Duckburg City Jail. It is great to see these familiar locations; but like Huey, Dewey, and Louie in these stories, I am also looking forward to their adventures outside of Duckburg. An issue that has Flintheart Glomgold and the Beagle Boys will always be entertaining to me. I can’t wait to crash into the next issue featuring Launchpad McQuack next month. I continue to enjoy Brandon Montclare’s writing and Tommaso Ronda’s illustrations. Ronda’s Glomgold was Glomgolden, and I am looking forward to Glomgold eventually getting a full issue instead of just the flashbacks.
Ivan Bigarella’s cover for each issue looks like it belongs in a Disney Duck museum. The Bigarella cover is definitely in my pull list along with Carlo Lauro’s color feature cover.
DuckTales fans, it is time to Woo-oo again!
