There’s no place I’d rather be
Than on my surfboard out at sea
Lingering in the ocean blue
And If I had one wish come true
I’d surf ’til the sun sets beyond the horizon

My Recap
*STOP READING HERE IF YOU WANT TO AVOID ALL SPOILERS*
At the end of the previous issue, Lilo was given the new title of “Galactic Federation Socilaization and Education Agent Number 834.” She has been assigned three new interstellar monster terrors to rehabilitate since she was so successful with Stitch and Tiny. The hunter that we were introduced to in issue #5 is still in search of invasive species in Hawaii. Stitch uses Jumba’ shrink ray to reduce the size of the new monsters to puppy size. Mayor Wong is convinced that Lilo’s new friends are all strange looking dogs. The hunter is on to Lilo and her new pets and goes on an attack to try to capture the creatures. Stitch shrinks himself and the creatures even smaller to crawl around in the hunter’s clothes. Lilo’s reverses the shrink ray to enlarge the hunter to monster size where he is taking down by the sky team and brought to the hospital. Mayor Wong had a meeting with the community, and they decide that the hunter was wrong. Mayor Wong wants Lilo to enroll all of her “dogs” into Aloha Animal Rescue’s Obedience Training.
This Lilo & Stitch comic series is the favorite comic of my six year old son. He can’t wait for new issues to be released each month, and we read the comics at bedtime. He highly recommends the Lilo & Stitch: Ohana trade paperback or hardcover which includes the first four issues of the Lilo & Stitch comic series to get your kids into enjoying comics.
You and your Ohana are going to love this Lilo & Stitch comic series.
The next issue of Lilo and Stitch will surf into your local comic book shop tentatively in December. There are currently no other issues of this series up for solicitation past issue #8. Be sure to check out the other current Dynamite Comics Disney releases: Gargoyles Quest and DuckTales.
Coming soon: Zootopia (January/February), Darkwing Duck (February), Gargoyles Demona, and The Nightmare Before Christmas
