It has been a long 71 days between comic issues for this villainous comic series. We are finally at the penultimate issue of Cruella’s social redemption as she attempts to climb back to the top of society. When we last saw her, she had met the professional international thief Emily Bezzler. Cruella, Emily, Horace, and Jasper are planning for the Crown Jewels of all heist by stealing the Crown Jewels at the Buckingham Palace Crown Jewels Gala. The plan includes Horace and Jasper dressing as palace guards, a smoke canister, and smoke masks. They are able to pull off the heist in a very simple way and without trouble except for some puppies that are immediately onto Cruella as the guilty party. Our heroes are able to escape with the jewels and a pillow case full of puppies.

Miriana Puglia’s artwork continues to impress as all of her comic panels perfectly fit the tone of the 1950’s 101 Dalmations film. This is a another gorgeous issue. I am looking forward to seeing how Sweeney Boo wraps this series up in the final issue.

Darling…look out for Cruella De Vil!
