There’s no place I’d rather be
Than on my surfboard out at sea
Lingering in the ocean blue
And If I had one wish come true
I’d surf ’til the sun sets beyond the horizon

Stitch arrives in India in style thanks to his custom made surf rider made of the upgraded Cluster Sovereign robots. His new friends in India make him a viral star of their monster destroying a city film. This helps Lilo find out Stitch’s location, but she is not the only one looking for Stitch that sees the viral movie. The Cluster Sovereign surprises Stitch with two new super advanced robots made with Stitch’s DNA. Stitch is able to out smart them with Lilo’s help. Stitch allows the robots to accomplish their goal of tapping into his brain to absorb all of his impulses and techniques, but by doing so they see all of his memories and become more like current day Stitch who is not evil and less destructive.

Upon arriving back in Hawaii, Lilo and Stitch are visited by a ship from the Grand Councilwoman of the Galactic Federation. They request the presence of Lilo. This concludes the first story arc for this comic series and quickly sets us up for the next story.
I liked the first four Dynamite Comics issues of Lilo & Stitch. It was interesting seeing Stitch visiting other areas of the world and interacting with the people. Younger readers will love this series the most. All Stitch fans will enjoy seeing his new adventures.
Lilo and Stitch fans are not going to want to miss this worldwide Roller Coaster Ride.

In a surprise move, the first four issues of the Dynamite Comics Lilo & Stitch series have been collected in a trade paperback titled “Ohana” which is being released the same day as Lilo & Stitch #4. Usually comic fans have to wait months after a series ends to receive that shiny trade paperback to be available. I really like that the collection is available now so that fans of the series can add it to their book shelves early and new fans can catch up before the next story arc starts in issue #5.

The next issue of Lilo and Stitch will surf into your local comic book shop in July 2024. Please make sure to support the other Dynamite Comics Disney releases: Justice Ducks, Negaduck, Gargoyles Quest, Hercules, and Disney Villains Cruella De Vil.
