Official Synopsis:
The Supervillain With the Midas Touch!
The rest of The Fearsome Five tremble in awe at their leader, who now wields a glove with the power to turn anything he touches into gold! Negaduck, of course, uses these stolen powers with all of the wisdom and responsibility you’d expect from the most evil villain in multiple universes.
Check out the amazing action figure variant cover below by Ciro Cangialosi featuring “The Steerminator”, Taurus Bulba. The action figure variant covers have been a highlight for me between the Disney Villains, Gargoyles, Darkwing Duck, and Negaduck comics. It is too bad that many of these action figures do no exist in real life.

This issue is titled “Gold Feather Part 4: All That Glitters”. Negaduck now wields the gauntlet of King Midas. The giant statue guardian of King Midas’ gauntlet magically comes alive to make sure that Nega and his crew does not escape with Midas’ touch. Negaduck uses the gauntlet to turn the statue guardian into solid gold.
Getting passed the guardian turns out to be the easy part as now the Fearsome Five need to find their way off an island where everything wants to eat them and the other St. Canard villains left with Megavolt’s airship. Luckily, Negaduck still has Taurus Bulba’s ship to get them back to St. Canard.
Taurus’ ship crashes when Nega turns it to gold, and Negaduck finds out that Taurus set him up to retrieve King Midas’ glove for him. Nega turns everything in the park to gold including Taurus and his crew, the Fearsome Five, and Darkwing’s statue. It turns out that the magic of King Midas’ glove has worn out over the years or does not work fully when taken from the island as the gold touch turns out to be fool’s gold.

This concludes Negaduck’s Gold Feather story arc for the first four issues of this Negaduck comic series from Dynamite Comics. A new four issue comic story arc will run in issues #5-8.
I really have enjoyed the art in this Negaduck series by Ciro Cangialosi. The fact that we are enjoying a self titled Negaduck comic in 2024 still feels like a Nega Dream.
Our friends at The St. Canard Files has an exclusive cover of Negaduck #4 illustrated by Tiffany Silver Braun. The covers features Paddywhack, Quackerjack, and Negaduck. This fantastic Paddywhack cover can be purchased at We Can Be Heroes Comics in Los Angeles or online soon. There is also a virgin cover edition minus the trade dressing as a limited edition of 200.

The next issue of Negaduck has a tentative release date of March 27th, 2024. Please make sure to support the other Dynamite Comics Disney releases: Justice Ducks, Gargoyles, Gargoyles: Dark Ages, Gargoyles Quest, Lilo and Stitch, and Disney Villains Cruella De Vil.
