When we last saw our heroes…in this case Hades and his misfits gang are the heroes…they were arriving at the back of the island in hopes of having the element of surprise because Jason of Iolcos had already arrived at the front of the island first. Unbeknownst to Hades, Medusa had already told the leader of the people of Colchis about Hades’ plan to acquire the Golden Fleece.
Hades and his team must survive the crashing islands if he wants to get his hands on that Golden Fleece. It is a good thing that Hades brought a Minotaur with him to lend two hands and arms and well all of his strength so that Hades’ boat could manage through. Everyone survived except for the boat. Meanwhile…Jason has already passed the first of several tests for a chance to acquire the Golden Fleece. Hades finally joins the party and setups a diversion to distract Jason with a challenge of planting dragon teeth while his team goes after the Golden Fleece. Dragon teeth? Oh yeah there is a big red ferocious dragon that the team should probably beware and take caution with an actual plan.
This issue was full of action and jokes which made it feel very much in character with the Hercules universe.
