Super7’s Mickey and Friends Vintage Collection ReAction series celebrates classic Disney animated shorts starring the fab five.
Our super friends at Super7 sent over Mickey and Friends Vintage Collection ReAction Wave 3 for us to showcase on the blog.
Wave 3 features Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Peg-Leg Pete, and Mickey’s Horse from the 1934 black and white classic animated short Two-Gun Mickey. The name of the short is not referenced in the packaging for obvious reasons. Unfortunately, this short is not currently on Disney+, but I was able to give it a rewatch for this review from the Disney Treasures Mickey Mouse in Black and White DVD set.
The back of the box showcases all of the characters that are included in Mickey and Friends Vintage Collection ReAction figures Wave 3.
I am an out of box collector, but I would not judge anyone for wanting to keep these fun figures on display in the packaging or for buying a second set because the packaging for this wave like the previous two waves of Super7 Mickey and Friends Vintage Collection ReAction figures is perfect.
Mickey Mouse
Mickey Mouse is dressed in his finest cowboy attire from Two-Gun Mickey minus his two guns.
Cowboy Mickey’s lasso rope is included as an accessory. Mickey has five points of articulation: head, arms (2) and legs (2).
As the Mickey and Friends Vintage Collection continues to expand, you can eventually have a really nice Mickey through the years figure collection.
Minnie Mouse
Cowboy Minnie Mouse looks adorable in her cowboy gear.
This Minnie Mouse figure does not include any accessories. Minnie has five points of articulation: head, arms (2), and legs (2).
As the Mickey and Friends Vintage Collection continues to expand, you can eventually have a really nice Minnie Mouse through the years figure collection.
Horse
Mickey’s Horse from the animated short gets his own figure.
Mickey’s Horse has five points of articulation: head and legs (4).
The Cowboy Mickey Mouse ReAction figure is not able to sit on top of his horse, but he looks great standing next to his trusty horse.
Peg-Leg Pete
The wanted Peg-Leg Pete is after Minnie Mouse who has just made a cash withdrawal from the town’s bank. It is always great to get a figure from this classic Disney Villain.
Peg-Leg Pete has five points of articulation: head, arms (2) and legs (2). I love the sculpted details in this figure. Peg-Leg Pete’s peg leg even has a spur which is something that I did not realize when watching the animated short.

Final Thoughts
A wave of black and white figures for Super7’s Mickey and Friends Vintage Collection ReAction figures was a great idea. Steamboat Willie would probably be the most obvious choice for a black and white Mickey Mouse animated short figure set, but I like how Super7 went beyond that short and picked the cowboy looks from Two-Gun Mickey. They all look like they have jumped right off the screen and into the collection. The ReAction figure line is all about providing fans with toys and collectibles in classic toy packaging. The articulation is similar to those classic toys with not many movement options, but the incredible details of these figures is a great trade off. These figures look amazing together on the shelf. I can’t wait to see more future releases in this collection.
The possibilities are really exciting with a deep bench of characters and animated shorts to choose from. My wish list would be a mile long, but I am personally hoping for figures from Mickey’s Christmas Carol, Lonesome Ghost, or Trick-Or-Treat.
