WandaVision kicked off phase 4 of the MCU and became the first original Marvel Studios show on Disney+. Eight Marvel Studios shows and two Marvel Special Presentation features would overall stream on Disney+ as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4.

Packaging

The Diamond Select Toys WandaVision PVC Diorama comes in window packaging showcasing everyone’s favorite Avengers witch, Wanda Maximoff or the Scarlet Witch.

The back of the box features a picture of the WandaVision PVC Diorama figure and a description of the character.

Wanda Maximoff is a powerful telepath with the ability to read and influence the minds of others. She can levitate and move objects with her mind through the use of telekinesis, and harness mysterious energy blasts to combat her foes.

The Gallery Diorama of Wanda Maximoff is based of her appearance in WandaVision. It features detailed sculpting and paint details and is made of high-quality PVC.

WandaVision PVC Diorama

The WandaVision PVC Diorama features Wanda Maximoff in her Scarlet Witch form from Episode 9: The Series Finale episode of WandaVision. The pose is taken straight from the scene when she is hovering in the sky above Westwood in a witch’s duel with Agatha Harkness. The diorama figure base is translucent red and features magical Runes on the back side as the Scarlet Witch had cast the symbols in the enclosed space of the town of Westwood to help her defeat Agatha. This figure definitely got me in the mood to rewatch that episode of WandaVision again on Disney+.

Diamond Select Toys PVC Diorama figures are in a class of their own. They have a great shelf presence, and the figures have a lot of life to them due to the display base diorama and action pose. If this was a Scarlet Witch action figure, this would be a pose that you would try to achieve. The paint jobs are always crisp, and the head sculpt portrait resembles Elizabeth Olsen. A Katherine Hahn Agatha Harkness figure would have been great to display across from this figure. Maybe when Agatha’s Disney+ series is released?

The hidden magic Runes on the back of the display base are a really nice extra detail, and they also may help you keep away any evil sorceresses from your collection.

Review

Diamond Select Toys PVC Diorama figures always impress me in the value category. DST’s PVC Diorama collection give the appearance of a high end premium resin statue that would sell for between $150-200. The paint jobs from the figures that I have reviewed have always been flawless, and the face of the head sculpt resembles the actor. Some of the action figures that I have seen do not look like Elizabeth Olsen. Fans of WandaVision and Wanda Maximoff / the Scarlet Witch are definitely going to want to add this Diamond Select Toys PVC Diorama figure to their collection.
