Disney+ launched on November 12th and over 10 million people subscribed on the streaming services first day! Classic movies and series are now available for millions of families in the US and Canada (and soon they will be available around the world).
It had previously been reported that Disney+ would include season one of DuckTales 2017, but on Nov 12th we were happily surprised to find that season two was available as well.
As exciting as it was to re-watch classic Disney Afternoon shows like Disney’s The Gummi Bears and Gargoyles there were a few hiccups along the way. One thing that we have seen cause a lot of confusion has been that many of the series have episodes out of order, and one such series is DuckTales 2017.
Since launch earlier this week many of the people who have worked on the show have tried to get the proper viewing order for seasons one and two out to those watching the show on Disney+. Thanks to an online campaign on Twitter by Frank Angone, Co-Producer of DuckTales, season two has been corrected to the proper viewing order.
Unfortunately, season one remains a little jumbled up. This is especially troublesome because people trying out the show for the first time will most likely begin with season one and when they get to Disney+’s fourth episode things may become a little confusing.
If you are about to watch DuckTales 2017 on Disney+ or if you are trying to convince someone to give this amazing show a try here is the proper viewing order for season one as provided by the creators of the show.

Why does Louie want to be the richest duck in the world? I know about all his “schemes”, but why does he think that will help him? He’d get grounded, like Beware The B.U.D.D.Y system episode!

The producers on the show have said that Louie’s desire to rich comes from years of fear that they would be poor because Donald kept losing jobs.

Few episode titles are wrong, here are the correct ones (taken directly from the episodes) =

That is a quote from co-executive producer Frank Angones. The Beagle episode did undergo a name change and is correct. He must have chose to omit the hyphen in Toth-Ra. I believe people could still find the Terra-Firmian episode even though he called it “Tunnel..”. I don’t typically correct quotes.
