  1. I wish Donald could get an episode named after him. We saw episodes named after Della and Scrooge but none named after the original Disney Duck?

I also hope this season does him proper justice as a highly competent adventurer/brawler/protector in his own right because the one episode description that mentions him makes him come across as lazy or unmotivated when the end of Season 1 should’ve proven how competent he is and how much he too loves adventure! 😑

    • As a Donald fan, I don’t disagree with you. And this is a criticism of the show that we’ve seen often.

I would love to have more Donald in the series. I don’t find Donald that difficult to understand, and his episodes are some of my favorites. I believe he is used a little more sparingly because of the importance of the character within Disney. I know it has been said people have trouble understanding him (I’ve seen this both from those involved in the show and people online commenting on it).

I would also add that Donald may be a little OP to take part in most of the “smaller” adventures. With his “Hulk Rage” moments there doesn’t seem to be an obstacle that he couldn’t take care of easily.

Couple that with the fact Tony Anselmo (Donald’s VO) is a busy man around the animation studios and that DuckTales has such a large cast and it makes a little more sense.

We also have to remember that while the show is car fuel to include things an older audience would enjoy, the show is made for kids. That means it will always be about the kids and the adults are the supporting characters.

That being said, I still hope that see more Donald Duck! 😁
