A New Disney Mobile Game Is On The Way!

There I was playing Disney Heroes: Battle Mode and Disney Emoji Blitz when I received a message from @PixieSphere letting us know that it looks like Darkwing Duck is being added to a new Disney Mobile game!

D23.com had the details as well as a fantastic sneak peak video. The game, called Disney Sorcere’s Arena, will be released this year by a mobile company called Glu Mobile Inc. Check out the video below.

Glu’s website states that the game will be an RPG with real time battles. The game will center around collecting characters and building a team. Players will compete daily in single-player and PvP challenges to build the ultimate Disney team. The game’s characters include both Disney and Pixar fan favorites. In the video you can see Captain Hook, Jafar, Ariel, Sully, Sorcerer Mickey, Robin Hood, and many others.

  1. Glu actually runs another game that I really like, Tap Sports Baseball. It combines the typical FTP model with a pretty fun baseball sim. I like that they have game modes where you’re not ‘stuck’ by limited variables – like Stamina in Battle Mode. I’m willing to give them a shot. I do think Battle Mode is a bit limited in the actual battles – there isn’t much decision that goes into how you play besides the makeup of your team. I definitely think there’s room for something a little more thoughtful.
