This week was a great week for new Fantagraphics books showing up on Amazon.

Here is what is new:

The Complete Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck Vol. 2

We already knew that Fantagraphics is releasing Don Rosa’s The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck volume 1 on April 16th, but we did not know when volume 2 would be released. Volume 1 includes the 12 stories that make up The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck. Volume 2 will be all of the additional supplemental stories that he wrote that complement those 12 stories.

With the new listing on Amazon, we now have a tentative date for volume 2’s release: October 15th. There will also be a box set with both Vol. 1 and 2 released that same day. Here are the preorder links:

The Carl Barks Library Vol. 21: Christmas in Duckburg

At DuckTalks, we are currently reading through Fantagraphics’ The Carl Barks Library. The Carl Barks Library usually has two volumes released each year, and we have known that the next volume (Vol 20) in the series, The Mines of King Solomon, is releasing on May 21. The Amazon listing for the 2nd release lists Vol. 21 as Christmas in Duckburg, and it will be available on September 3rd. I love the releases that have great Christmas stories. This one sounds great.

Disney Masters Vol. 10 and Vol. 11

The Disney Masters Series by Fantagraphics is knocking it out of the park by delivering fans great Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse stories that have previously not been available in English.

Disney Masters Vol. 6: Uncle Scrooge: King of the Golden River is getting its release next week. We have known what was coming with the next three volumes from the Disney Masters series including an exciting Duck Avenger Strikes Again release with Vol. 8, but Disney Masters Vol. 10 and Vol. 11 has been added to Amazon. Disney Masters Vol. 10 will be Donald Duck: Scandal of the Epoch Express. Disney Masters Vol. 11 will be Mickey Mouse: The Ice Sword Saga (Book II).
