Official DuckTales Episode Descriptions and Air Dates for (most of) July!

The Disney Channel press site recently updated the DuckTales’ episode page with descriptions and even premiere dates for some of the episodes in July. We will most likely discuss these and make our predictions on episode 30 of our podcast, but we wanted to share the info with you before we discussed it.

This week’s episode “Day of the Only Child!” will sunset June’s Episodes, and next weekend begins a month full of DuckTales goodness. Debuting Saturday July 7th we have “From the Confidential Case Files of Agent 22!”

Webby learns how Scrooge and Mrs. Beakley first met while she helps Scrooge rescue her granny from the clutches of rival spy Black Heron.

This episode promises to be one with adventure and mystery! We’ve been guessing at Scrooge and Mrs. Beakley’s history since the premiere episode. We know Beakley has been preparing Webby while trying to keep her safe… but from what!? This episode is sure to at least give us some clues.

The next episode listed on the site is “Sky Pirates… In The Sky!” This episode is listed as being the next episode in production order, but there is no air date on the website. We did mention a few weeks back that IMDb had this episode listed to air on July 28th… so maybe it will not air after Case Files or Agent 22? This episode will be the show’s debut of Sky Pirates and Don Karnage, voiced by Jim Cummings.

Feeling ignored, Dewey finds a new family: a band of singing and dancing pirates looking to rob Scrooge blind.

Guess we were right about those singing and dancing pirates…

On July 14th we will enjoy another episode centered around Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera (voiced by Lin Manuel Miranda) and Mark Beaks.

As Fenton figures out how to be a hero, Mark Beaks offers to hire Gizmoduck and help him defend all of Duckburg.

Beaks was definitely seen plotting at the end of the B.U.D.D.Y System episode, and we can’t wait to see these two birds at odds with one another.

The next episode on the site is titled “The Other Bin of Scrooge McDuck!” and it is scheduled to air on July 21st. The description of this episode leads us believe that this story may be a catalyst for the season finale.

Lena’s loyalties are tested when Magica forces her to lead Webby on a raid to a facility full of Scrooge’s most dangerous artifacts to find his #1 Dime.

That’s it for now! What do you think about these episodes? Is there one you are looking more forward to? As we get closer to the end of season one what are your predictions?
